Jaryd was born on the East Rand of Johannesburg South Africa.  He showed a love and interest in music from a very young age.  His grandfather and mother bought him his first guitar when he was six, but Jaryd only started playing when he turned twelve.  Jaryd studied music for four years at C.O.P.A (Campus Of Performing Arts), after which he spent three years on the road driving to every province in South Africa with his band Van Smith.  Jaryd went solo in 2015 playing and looping many instruments.

His talent is one that can’t be hidden.  He is a looping artist with a personality second to none.  Always entertaining and very popluar in the Beer Fest Line-Ups as well as Private Events, Weddings and Birthdays.
